Lash Extensions, Lash Lifts & Brow Laminations Aftercare

  • Be as gentle as possible with your new eyelashes or brows.

  • Lash extensions - Keep eyelash extensions as dry as possible for the first 48 hours

  • Lash Lifts - Keep eyelashes as dry as possible for the first 24 hours.

  • Brow Laminations - Keep eyebrows as dry as possible for the first 24 hours.

  • During the initial 24-48 hours (as per above) stay away from hot and steamy environments (eg hot bath or sauna) as the moisture will impact the initial curing process.

  • Do not use any waterproof and oil-based mascara or brow makeup. Use water-based mascara sparingly on your eyelashes, preferably from the middle to the tips, avoiding the base of your eyelashes.

  • Avoid sports and recreation activities that cause you to sweat, and especially those taking place in humid conditions. Examples include but are not limited to swimming, showering, visits to spas and saunas and tanning.

  • Do not use any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near eyelashes or brows.

  • Avoid rubbing your eyes and brows or touching your lashes with your hands or fingers.

  • Whilst difficult, try to avoid crying during the first 48 hours.

  • It is advisable to sleep on your side or back versus on your front for the first 24 hours.

How to clean your Eyelash Extensions

We highly recommend you watch our training video below to learn how to clean your lash extensions.

We recommend you use our Lash Lovers Eyelash & Eyelid Foaming Cleanser in the morning and evening on your lash extensions, or after a workout to remove excess oils. Naturally produced oils degrade the lash adhesive. Cleaning the oil away daily helps with lash retention. It is part of the Lash Lovers Aftercare & Maintenance Kit and is available in the Studio.
